Junior Witter Lost Light- Welterweight Title to Timothy Bradley

British boxer Junior Witter lost his momentum at least. He suffered a shocking defeat to Timothy Bradley of U.S. With this victory, Timothy Bradley has won the light- welterweight title of Witter. It was only the second defeat for Junior Witter in his 36 outings in his career. He was not at his best and could show enough resistance against Bradley in the match.

Independent reported:

"I'm gutted" Witter said. "I can't believe it, I thought I'd done enough to win. It was not my best performances and I give Bradley credit. He took some good shots. But before I went down I thought I'd won every round and I got up and thought I went on to win the fight."

No doubt, British fans are unhappy with the defeat of Junior Witter in the match. A few months back, another British boxer Ricky Hutton was defeated by U.S. boxer Floyd Maywhether in a high profile showdown. It seems that British boxers are going through a rough patch of time.
