Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto: An Enticing Fight Facing Difficulty

Manny Pacquiao is undoubtedly the best pound for pound boxer in the world at this moment. The Philippino boxer has already bagged six world titles in six different weight divisions, and is now gearing up to become the world’s first ever boxer to win seven world boxing titles in seven weight divisions. That is why, Manny Pacquiao wants to fight for the WBO Welterweight titles current held by Miguel Cotto, in his attempt to make history.

You already know that a November 14 fight between Pacquiao and Cotto has already been announced, but now the fight is facing some problems which could lead to the cancellation of the fight. The problem is that Cotto wants to fight at 147 weight class where he will have some advantage as he would not need to adjust much in terms of weight. Pacquiao, however, wants to fight for the Welterweight title of Cotto and wishes to fight at 145 because the Philippino does not want a fight without having any title at stake. Now, let us see if their promoter along with the players themselves can come under an effective agreement and make the fight possible in November.

Mike Tyson is going to Braintree but not to fight

Mike Tyson is no longer a top boxer. His good days are over long time ago. He is now focusing his career on show biz and he is doing some acting. In November, he is expected to come to Braintree and meet some people and answer their question. This idea has come from Jimmy Clyne. The basic idea is that people will pay money to get a chance to talk with Tyson. He will answer questions to ordinary people about his own life and boxing career. About Braintree WIKIPEDIA wrote:

Braintree is a town of about 42,000 people and the principal settlement of the Braintree district of Essex in the East of England. It is ten miles north-east of Chelmsford and fifteen miles west of Colchester on the River Blackwater, A120 road and a branch of the Great Eastern Main Line

This will be a good publicity for both Mike Tyson and Braintree.
