Manny Pacquiao Ranked No. 1 in WBC Ranking

After the recent demolition of Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao has now moved up to the no. 1 spot of World Boxing Council (WBC). So, he is now the no.1 contender of vacant super lightweight title. Timothy Bradley, the former holder of WBC super lightweight title, has recently been stripped off the title by WBC as he failed to defend the title.

Manny Pacquiao is currently considered to be undisputed pound-for-pound boxer after his easy knock out victory over British boxer Ricky Hatton, who was gearing up to stop Manny Pacquiao’s run inside the ring. With this victory, Pacquiao has clinched Hatton’s IBO light welterweight and Ring Magazine’s light welterweight titles. The Filipino boxer earlier held WBC lightweight, WBC super-featherweight, BF super bantamweight, WBC flyweight and Ring Magazine featherweight tiles.

Now, it seems that Manny Pacquiao is now all set to win the vacant super lightweight title of WBC. Let us see if the Filipino boxer can win the WBC super lightweight title too.
