Brian Viloria Becomes IBF Light Flyweight Boxing Champion

Brian Viloria knocked out Mexican boxer Jose Ulises Solis to snatch the IBF light flyweight title away from Solis. This is the second title for Viloria in his career. Viloria earlier held World Boxing Council (WBC) light flyweight title in 2005, before losing it in 2006. Filipino-American Brian Viloria was facing Solis at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, capital of Philippines.

After losing the WBC light flyweight title in 2006, Brian Viloria needed something like what was achieved over Solis on Sunday. No doubt, it would boost up his confidence level. He is still 28 and can continue his job in the ring for five to seven more years. So, if Brian Viloria can continue the momentum, then a number of titles are yet to be added to his credit in the years to come.
