Carl Froch Knocked out Jermain Taylor to Defend WBC Super Middleweight Title

British boxer Carl Froch has successfully defended his WBC super middleweight title against former undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor. Froch knocked out Taylor in the dying minutes of the 12th round. Taylor was ahead of Froch on the scorecards of two judges and needed to defend successfully for another 14 second to win the WBC super middleweight title. However, a confident and poised Carl Froch did not let his American opponent to snatch the title away from him.


Carl Froch has now remained undefeated with this victory, improving his career record to 25-0 including 20 knock outs. Taylor’s career record has gone down further to 27 wins, 3 defeats and a draw. In fact, Jermain Taylor lost his 3rd bout in his last four fights.
